USDA pegs Sept. 1 wheat stocks at 1.8 billion bushels

WASHINGTON, DC, US – The US Department of Agriculture on Sept. 30, in its quarterly Grain Stocks report, estimated stocks of wheat held in all positions in the United States on Sept. 1, 2021, at 1.80 billion bushels, down 377.887 million bushels, or 18%, from 2.158 billion bushels a year ago. USDA lowers all-wheat crop estimate to 1.646 billion bushels

WASHINGTON, DC, US — The US Department of Agriculture on Sept. 30, in its Small Grains 2021 Summary, estimated the 2021 US all-wheat crop at 1.646 billion bushels, down 51.041 million bushels from the most recent previous forecast made in the USDA’s August Crop Production report and down 182.279 million bushels, or 10%, from 1.828 billion bushels in 2020.
